GiGi's Place - Restaurant Impossible Update

On this week's episode of Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Covington, Georgia to makeover GiGi's Place. GiGi's Place is a soul food restaurant and the owner GiGi is having health problems.  Despite that, she is unable to step away from the restaurant because her daughter and her head chef are constantly fighting. Robert will need to help repair relationships in hopes of turning the restaurant around.

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about GiGi's Place to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):

Positive Reviews:

• "Food is delicious. You gotta try the turkey wing and sweet potatoes. Definitely would go back."
• "The food was delicious, the ambience stole the show, service was better than most. I choose to eat here for my bday dinner however the weather had other plans lol it was a cold Sunday we went to brunch then bought dinner around 1pm the food was still delicious at 10pm that night. I would definitely dine again."

• "I spent $40 for two dinners the collard greens I don't know what they taste like candy yam was out of the can the dressing was stove top stuffing the food was horrible I won't go back there no more they need a soul food cook in there that stuff out of the can I'm very disappointed looking for Southern soul food cooking I could have bought that out the can myself like I said no more."
• "Spent 40 dollars. mushy dressing, Mac & cheese looks better than it tastes..cube steak had no taste... very disappointed, me and my wife love to support our up coming black businesses...but u gotta me us at least half way!! Can sodas 2 Dollars ridiculous...the lady was very nice that was preparing me and my wife's plate"

Conclusion:

The reviews for GiGi's Place since the Restaurant Impossible makeover are mostly positive with people liking the food and friendly atmosphere. There are a few negative reviews about the price of the food vs. the quality of the food.
