On this week's episode of Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Shreveport, Louisiana to makeover Eddie's. Eddie's is a seafood restaurant owned by Mavice, who is following her father's legacy. The restaurant is known for its stuffed shrimp, but this signature dish and the restaurant aren't what they used to be. Mavice's inability to adapt is impacting the food, finances and her family. Robert will need to convince Mavice to make the necessary changes to save the restaurant and their family's legacy.
As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Eddie's to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):
- "Friendly, courteous and accurate service. Atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. Food was very good at a reasonable price."
- "The food is always good. It's very home cooked and always amazing. The staff is family oriented. It's always fantastic. From the famous stuffed shrimp, cheeseburgers, hamburgers steak to the fries. Now the new added freshly made daily Famous Mavice Cobbler(Peach Cobbler) is to die for, when I say it's good its Gooood!"
- "Went for the first time today. Got a dozen stuffed shrimp with fries to go. Service and food was great. Will definitely be going back! Everyone was very nice and courteous. The stuffed shrimp were delicious. Could’ve used a few more fries but it was worth it."
- "I ordered the seafood platter and everything was excellent. I even got some good peach cobbler. I will be returning soon. Thanks for the excellent service."
- "I love the food and the people. Best customer service. You have to stop by and enjoy the Southern food. You will not be disappointed."
Negative Reviews:
- "After purchasing chicken and rice and gravy from this establishment. I was sorely disappointed with the food. The chicken had no seasoning ,cooked to hard and almost burnt. Gravy tasted like it was packaged with no seasoning."
- "Terrible waiting time. Front desk cashier will tell you to wait for a random amount of time instead of telling the truth. The food however is good"

Conclusion:
The reviews for Eddie's Restaurant since the Restaurant Impossible makeover are mostly positive. They haven't had too many reviews, but the positive reviews talk about the food (especially the stuffed shrimp) and friendly service. It seems that they are also trying to focus more on their stuffed shrimp sales through Louisiana Stuffed Shrimp Company to help grow.
