On this week's Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in San Diego, California to makeover Kaiserhof Restaurant. Kaiserhof is a German restaurant that is stuck in the past which is causing it to fail. The chef/owner Peter does not want to make changes to the restaurant due to fear of changing his late father's original design and menu. Robert Irvine needs to convince Peter to change to become more current if he wants to turn Kaiserhof around.
As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Kaiserhof Restaurant to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):
- "Great food, atmosphere, service. I love places where you can order just about anything on the menu and be happy."
- "Great food, amazing service, rebecca is awesome, she set us up with the perfect amount of food, im coming back!"
- "Excellent food and great service. We had the Jaeger Schnitzel with potato pancakes with applesauce and the roast goose with spatzle, brown gravy and zucchini. Great flavors and tasted just as good the next day."
- "Finally got the chance to return to this wonderful restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Super wonderful pork schnitzel and veal. Makes my mouth water just just talking about it Fabulous meals!
- The staff was new to me but very adept for the service. Thanks for helping to impress my partner and date. Another pleasant repast with a wonderful person. Thanks to all the staff for the delightful memories!"
- "Very nice interior. The prices may seem high, but if one leaves hungry they have a problem; the portions are quite large... and TASTY. My wife had the wiener schnitzel and I had the salmon. My wife had enough left over for lunch the next day. My salmon was the largest piece of fish I've had at ANY restaurant. The sides are equally large. We will definitely be back!"
- "Really good German food place. Bunch of dishes that tasted quite authentic. And the portions are huge. Plus each of our selected dishes came with a free starter (choice of soup or a cucumber salad). Good selection of beers and wines as well."

Negative Reviews:
- "Worst dining experience of Covid life EVER. This restaurant has a HUGE Covid turnover. Staff is different everytime we show up. Tonight our waitress had NO IDEA what the different beers were. Dark??? How should she know???? I waited 20 minutes for my second beer. My dinner had been served and I was done eating ... finally got a beer ... i was sitting 20 feet from the bar. "
