Soul Food in the Park - Restaurant Impossible Update

Tonight on Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in York, Pennsylvania to makeover Soul Food in the Park. Soul Food in the Park is a soul food restaurant owned by a husband and wife team.  The wife Audra tries to cover up her lack of knowledge and confidence by yelling at her husband.  Robert will need to get Audra to control her anger issues to save both the restaurant and her marriage.  Also, the rundown building will need to be completely renovated. 

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Soul Food in the Park to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):

Positive Reviews:

• "Visited this past Friday. They did a great job with the interior and the food was awesome (Salisbury Steak for me and Shrimp and grits for my wife). The owner and her husband was so nice. Can't wait to go back."

• The Restaurant Impossible makeover for Soul Food in the Park happened in April 2021.
• Here is the Soul Food in the Park website and Facebook page. 
• Despite the makeover in April, Soul Food in the Park had call in orders only through the middle of June, but now they just say, "call in orders appreciated."
• The restaurant is only open Friday - Sunday and the hours vary from 1pm-6pm, 2pm-7pm, etc.  They post the hours on Facebook.
• The only review site that has reviews for Soul Food in the Park is Google.

Conclusion:

There weren't too many reviews of Soul Food in the Park since the Restaurant Impossible makeover, but all of them have been positive.  In fact, there were no reviews on the Internet for the restaurant before the Restaurant Impossible makeover, so I guess there is a bit more buzz.  The restaurant has limited hours and is primarily take out with call-in orders, which is probably a reason there aren't too many reviews.  The restaurant does post updates to their Facebook page with their daily menu and the hours they are open.
