Tonight on Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Las Vegas, Nevada to makeover Burnt Offerings. Burnt Offerings is owned by a Russian immigrant who has an American dream of success through her restaurant. Alexandra is supposedly a half million dollars in debt and her strictly kosher protocols may be holding the restaurant back. Robert Irvine needs to find ways to raise revenue and cut costs to help save the restaurant and keep Alexandra's dream alive.
As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Burnt Offerings to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):
Positive Reviews:
- "I had the Mother's Day (for two) special with my Mom. It came with a huge salad (more likely for four) a steak 40+ oz. (this steak is usually 36oz. on the regular menu), a dessert (rich chocolate cake) and a whole bottle of wine. We both enjoyed it very much. I ordered an extra steak which was extremely juicy and "Jewish penicillin" (matzah ball soup)n which was good, among other good things. she was pleasantly surprised and gets to savor the leftovers afterwords for another day. Good deal and we are glad I ordered it for us. I highly recommend this restaurant!"
- "Excellent food and service. This was very good kosher food. Will come back next to me I'm in Vegas. Staff was very friendly ! Burgers were cooked perfect."
- "Caught them minutes before closing due to a late landing and I called to place an order and they graciously accepted and delivered to the hotel. BBQ brisket nachos were amazing!"
- "Kosher or not, you'll enjoy the food here! I came by with a friend for dinner a few months back and we both really enjoyed what we had- food was super fresh and well executed, location is cute and clean, service was attentive."
- "Amazing food and great atmosphere! We were in Vegas for 2 days and went back the second night for dinner again because we needed to try more of the menu. Amity and the other waitress (sadly we didn't get her name) were amazing and the manager Michael was so friendly and gave us great recommendations for the area. The second night we were able to meet Alexandra the owner and she was so welcoming and gracious, will definitely come back on our next trip to Vegas and cant wait for it! "
- "Outstanding service, food and ambiance. The restaurant recently remodeled and it looks amazing. The revised menu is fantastic and the food delicious. If you want a great experience in Vegas, this is your destination. Thanks Alexandra, Michael and the team!"
- "Everything we ordered was amazing. In fact I wish I could eat some more to try everything else on the menu. Definitely will be back. Great service. Very clean and friendly. It is a must to try!"
Negative Reviews:
- "Having tried this establishment on several occasions, it's inconsistent nice ambiance wait staff try there best food over priced for portions served. Shame could be much better."
