Restaurant Impossible - Cosentino's Ristorante Update

Tonight on Restaurant: Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew are in Geneva, New York to makeover Cosentino's Ristorante. Cosentino's Ristorante is an Italian restaurant owned by Bill and Nancy Cosentino.  The restaurant is struggling, which is causing their marriage to go downhill.  Their son Dom is serving unappetizing food in the restaurant and Robert Irvine needs to make big changes for the restaurant to succeed.

As I normally do with Restaurant: Impossible episodes, I searched around the Internet to read stories, comments and reviews about Cosentino's Ristorante to get an idea of how the restaurant is doing since Robert Irvine visited, and here is what I found (note - all reviews are post Restaurant: Impossible):

Positive Reviews:

• "Excellent service and food, we visit every time we are in Geneva. Staff and owners provide a great dining experience"
• "The restaurant was good overall. Although we waited 5 minutes to be seated with multiple open tables and got no menus. They do have plexiglass between some tables, however I don't think some of the tables were spread out enough. We did wait a long time for some of our food, which was ended up being good. The staff seemed frazzled and were always tending to parties outside. We had to ask for some things twice, as did another table inside."

Negative Reviews:

• "Very disgusted with the poor service I received. I walked in waited for 10mins , sat down and was not greeted for 20mins . The servers keep passing my table and no one took a moment to say we will be right with you. Once we were finally acknowledged, ordered and the food took over 40mims to even come out. I asked to speak to the owner and he was arrogant, rude and nasty. He had an issue with me complaining about the horrible service his establishment was given. I would never patronize this establishment ever again. Even after the food arrived , it tasted like spaghetti O's from a can. Needless to say I was disgusted and highly disappointed!!!"
• "Poor service. We walked in for our 7:30 reservation right on time. We waited for 10 minutes before a host approached the host stand. As we waited, a CUSTOMER sitting at the bar said "someone will be right with you". When the host finally came over, there was no apology for the wait, and our table wasn't even ready. Our server was prompt to come to the table to take our drink orders, however, we were not given the drink menu to look at - had to ask for it. When we finally ordered our wine, my husband received the wrong wine."
• "Poor service. I heard restaurant impossible was there impossible to enjoy the restaurant. Rude manager sat for 10 minutes no acknowledgment not even a water or I will be right with you. When we left said manager/owner said 10 minutes was not long too wait which is fine as long as at least you get I'll be right with you. Avoid the tv show did not do this place any good. All show no substance"

Conclusion:

The reviews for Cosentino's Ristorante since the Restaurant Impossible makeover have been mixed. There are positive reviews about the atmosphere and both positive and negative reviews about the food.  While some reviews complement the service, most of the negative reviews have complaints about the service and the time it took to get seated.
