The final episode is two hours long and the description of tonight's episode states, "The final two teams head back to Los Angeles, where Tyler Florence welcomes them to the historic Pueblo de Los Angeles, the epicenter of LA's Mexican heritage and culture. He introduces Bricia Lopez, co-owner of James Beard-award winning restaurant Guelaguetza, and they explain the Mexican ingredients and flavors the trucks will be using in their final challenge: chayote and habanero peppers. Both trucks pull out all the stops for the win, but only one team is awarded the $50,000 grand prize."
Just Wing It is comprised of Worst Cooks in America alumni and it seems that neither food truck plans on using the prize money to open up a food truck business, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

On day 1, the two teams had to incorporate chayote into a dish. New England Grill made fish tacos with chayote salsa, while Just Wing It made a chayote fritter. Tyler Florence decided that New England Grill won the first challenge and they won $350 to add to their final total.
On day 2, the two food trucks had to incorporate habanero peppers into a dish. Tyler Florence let them know whoever sold more of their habanero dish, he would match the total for that dish dollar for dollar. Just Wing It won the habanero challenge and sold $582 worth of their habanero wings, which Tyler matched with an extra $582.
Tyler then revealed the totals over the two days - Just Wing It sold $5,634 worth of food and they were declared the winners of The Great Food Truck Race and $50,000. New England Grill sold $3,999.
