PRIMETIME PREMIERE EPISODES
All-Star Academy – Premiering Sunday, February 14th at 10pm
All-Star Academy is back in session with some new faces as first-time mentors Robert Irvine and Andrew Zimmern join veteran mentors Alex Guarnaschelli and Curtis Stone in the classroom. Nine home cooks from across the country vie for spots working with these all-star mentors, and each week, high-profile “guest professors” will put the home cooks through intense cooking challenges. At the end of the day, one cook will be sent home, and the mentors’ reputations will be put on the line, since they must leave when they lose both of their cooks. One home cook will be left standing, winning bragging rights and a $50,000 grand prize.
Premiering Sunday, February 14th at 10pm – “First Day of School” – SEASON PREMIERE!
The first day at All-Star Academy begins as nine home cooks enter the kitchen and meet their mentors: Alex Guarnaschelli, Robert Irvine, Curtis Stone and Andrew Zimmern. The cooks are put to the test preparing a dish using the contents of a lunch box, which the mentors taste and rank in order. While the lowest-ranked cook is eliminated, the remaining eight choose their mentors. Then, the mentors must cook to impress guest judge Carla Hall and win a Save Card, which they can use later to keep one of their cooks from elimination.
Premiering Sunday, February 21st at 9pm – “Geography”
The home cooks enter to meet their new guest professors, Debi Mazar and Aarón Sánchez. The subject is geography, and for their group test, they must compete in a tag team challenge cooking dishes that combine the styles of where they are from. The two teams with the least successful dishes then compete in an elimination test using ingredients from the most popular cuisines in the world: Thai, Italian or Mexican.
Premiering Sunday, February 28th at 9pm – “Art”
Duff Goldman serves as guest professor for a set of art-inspired challenges. First, the mentors face off in two battles featuring desserts in different colors. The teams with the least successful dishes then compete making a structural dessert that features chocolate and incorporates a circle, a square and a triangle on the plate.

American Diner Revival
Premiering Friday, February 5th at 8:30pm – “Drenched in Drama”
Everyone in the area calls Andrews Diner in Wilton Manors, Florida their home away from home, but with trendy new eateries popping up all over town, its drab decor and deep-fried dishes are leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouths! While owners Angelo and Gerri are away, chef Amanda Freitag and renovation expert Ty Pennington plan to transform this diner from drab to fab.
Premiering Friday, February 12th at 8:30pm – “Say I Do to a Re-Do” – THEMED EPISODE!
Linda Kay’s Diner in Scranton is a total mess! Because the diner is in disarray and debt, owner Linda has put off marrying the love of her life, James. Now, chef Amanda Freitag and renovation expert Ty Pennington have only two days to fix this disastrous diner.
Premiering Friday, February 19th at 8:30pm – “Bakery Shake-Up”
Glenburn Grill and Bakery in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania needs to amp up their baked goods or else their business will be toast! The diner’s menu lacks the warm bakery foods they advertise, and their decor needs a home-style shake up. Can chef Amanda Freitag and renovation expert Ty Pennington help this family diner make enough dough to stay afloat?
Premiering Friday, February 26th at 8:30pm – “From Drive-By diner to Diner Destination”
Times have been tough at El Cabanal in Jersey City, as the family funds go to treating their mother’s cancer diagnosis. The diner needs fixing, and it shows! Chef Amanda Freitag and renovation expert Ty Pennington have just two days to turn this drive-by diner into a diner destination that reflects the family’s Ecuadorian heritage while also infusing their American roots into the menu.

Beat Bobby Flay
Premiering Thursday, February 4th at 10pm – “Touchdown!”
It is a coin toss as former football player, chef Deji Oduwole, and competition junkie, Zane Holmquist, put their game faces on to compete one-on-one against Bobby Flay. Former professional boxer Laila Ali and Food Network’s Anne Burrell take front row seats in what is sure to be a culinary knockout.
Premiering Thursday, February 11th at 10pm – “Sweet and Spicy” – THEMED EPISODE!
Food Network Southern belles Katie Lee and Damaris Phillips are not all hugs and kisses as they conspire to crush Bobby Flay. New Mexico-born chef Carlos Baez takes on Long Island, New York chef Steven Scalesse, for the chance to break Bobby’s heart on Valentine’s Day.
Premiering Thursday, February 18th at 10pm – “A Feather in Your Cap”
Food Network vets Sunny Anderson and Alex Guarnaschelli ruffle some feathers in this epic culinary battle. Chef Mohan Ismail brings his Singaporean flare against Long Island, New York all-star chef Nicole Roarke.
Premiering Thursday, February 25th at 10pm – “The Boys are Back”
It is new school versus old school, South Western-style, when veteran Sante Fe chef Todd Hall and Phoenix chef Brian Archibald duke it out with hopes of convincing Burgers, Brew and ‘Que host Michael Symon and chef Michael Voltaggio that they have what it takes to beat Bobby Flay!

Premiering Monday, February 1st at 9pm – “Minecraft”
One of the biggest video games of all time is coming to Cake Wars — Minecraft! They are throwing a huge party to celebrate this smash hit, and Brand Director for Minecraft, Lydia Winters, is on hand to help the judges Ron Ben-Israel and Waylynn Lucas choose which baker will have their winning cake creation as the centerpiece of the big event and walk out $10,000 richer in this competition hosted by Jonathan Bennett.
Premiering Monday, February 8th at 9pm – “Valentine’s Day” – THEMED EPISODE!
Love is in the air as Cake Wars celebrates Valentine’s Day with chocolate! With the help of an expert chocolatier, four bakers put their hearts into their cake creations for the chance to be featured as the centerpiece of a romantic Valentine’s Day wine tasting and leave with a sweet $10,000 prize. World famous chocolatier Jonathan Grahm joins judges Ron Ben-Israel and Waylynn Lucas to share his love of the sweet confection!
Premiering Monday, February 15th at 9pm – “Shark Lagoon”
Watch out! These cakes have some serious teeth as Cake Wars takes on the great wonders of the deep: sharks! As the world-famous Aquarium of the Pacific throws a massive celebration for their Shark Lagoon nights, four bakers will take a bite at the chance to make a jaw-dropping cake creation to be the centerpiece of the party. Aquarium staff member Luke Richmond joins judges Ron Ben-Israel and Waylynn Lucas to choose which baker’s cake is fin-tastic enough to win $10,000!
Premiering Monday, February 22nd at 9pm – “Shrek”
Everyone’s favorite ogre is making his way to Cake Wars — Shrek himself! DreamWorks Animation is throwing a massive party to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the iconic animated film, and Shrek producer Gina Shay is on hand to join judges Ron Ben-Israel and Waylynn Lucas tochoose which amazing baker will earn the right to have their cake creation as the centerpiece of the party and win $10,000.
Premiering Monday, February 29th at 9pm – “Party Animals”
Even hippos love cake, and Cake Wars celebrates the first birthday of Rosie the baby hippo from the Los Angeles Zoo! Four bakers go to battle for the chance to have their amazing cake creation at the center of this wild birthday party and go home with $10,000. John Lewis, Director of the Los Angeles Zoo, helps judges Ron Ben-Israel and Waylynn Lucas determine which baker is king of the jungle!

Chopped
Premiering Tuesday, February 2nd at 10pm – “Tailgate Party”
It is game time in the Chopped kitchen for four fanatical tailgaters, who are out to prove that their passion for cooking is equal to their passion for their teams. Some of the competitors are not pleased to find a vegetarian patty in the first basket, and in the second round, cheese and sausage are two of the mandatory ingredients. A salty and sweet treat in the dessert basket makes for a fine tailgating dessert on its own, but how will it be transformed into a final, plated dish?

Premiering Sunday, February 7th at 9pm – “Bacon Boys”
Four self-assured guys are lucky to get bacon as their theme, but how will these “bacon boys” do in the first round with bacon in the baskets alongside banana jam? A bacon-packed round two has the chefs wondering what to do with a weird ice cream and some lovely greens. Bacon in dessert is not a new concept, but can the last two chefs create original, delicious sweet-and-salty dishes?

Premiering Tuesday, February 9th at 10pm – “Love Bites” – THEMED EPISODE!
It is food to get you in the mood, with aphrodisiacs in all of the baskets! As the chefs attempt to get in touch with their sensual sides, some are turned off by the oysters in the first basket. Tasting the entree dishes, the judges criticize a chef for not plating some sexy stuff, which he left in a pan. Two alluring, pre-made desserts in the final basket seem like a head start but could be a trap.

Premiering Tuesday, February 16th at 10pm – “Ready for Redemption”
Four former Chopped runners-up are brave enough to return to the Chopped kitchen, and in the appetizer basket, they find a shocker of a protein and some sweet jam. Sugar and spice are in store for the chefs in the second round, when they must use cheesecake and garam masala in their entrees. The dessert round finds the remaining two chefs gunning for victory… finally!

Premiering Tuesday, February 23rd at 10pm – “Cooking Caribbean”
Full of flavor and fun, Caribbean cuisine is the focus of this special Chopped competition! The judges are excited to taste four shrimp appetizers, but one chef suffers a big setback. Then, some beautiful Caribbean ingredients in the second basket inspire the chefs to embark on laborious entree plates, and in the final round, the judges look forward to tasting some sweet potato and rum desserts.

In a special chocolate episode, one chef has to play roulette for their chocolate chip cookie dessert ingredients. Then, two chefs have to play whack-a-mole for their mole ingredients. Finally, one chef has to play a giant marble maze as they make chocolate marble cake.

Premiering Sunday, February 21st at 10pm – “Cashew If You Can”
While making cocktails and hors d’oeuvre, two chefs have to get their ingredients from trays of passed appetizers. Then, one chef has to make cashew chicken on a horseshoe. Finally, one chef has to shoot their tres leches cake ingredients through a basketball hoop.

Premiering Sunday, February 28th at 10pm – “The One with William Shatner”
In a special man cave episode judged by William Shatner, three chefs have to make their bacon dishes while sitting on a couch. Then, two chefs have to get in the wrestling ring to make their burger and onion rings. Finally, one chef has to shoot pool to move around the kitchen as they make their boozy dessert.

Premiering Friday, February 12th at 10pm – “Italy”
The second stop on Guy Fieri and his son Hunter’s month-long culinary adventure brings them to Rome, where they discover how to make the perfect cup of cappuccino, dine at a unique seafood spot and dive into gelato-making at a place serving up tradition since the 1880s. Then, heading up to northern Italy, Hunter learns to commandeer a gondola in Venice and the pair have a heartwarming family reunion in Sesto Calende.
Premiering Friday, February 19th at 10pm – “Italy and Switzerland”
Guy Fieri and his son Hunter’s month-long culinary adventure through Europe continues with a visit to Parma, Italy, where Guy fulfills a longtime dream of witnessing the making of true Parmigiano-Reggiano. Then, they discover the years-long process behind curing and aging prosciutto and taste a regional delicacy: horsemeat sandwiches. Crossing into Switzerland, they make a pit stop for some real Swiss fondue.
Premiering Friday, February 26th at 10pm – “Germany and France”
Guy Fieri and his son Hunter’s month-long culinary adventure through Europe continues in Germany, where they learn to make authentic pretzels and Hunter shows some style in old-fashioned lederhosen. Then, moving on to France, the guys learn the surprising and intricate tradition behind making true French croissants in Paris and cook up a Mexican feast while reuniting with old friends in Chantilly.

Four chefs who are getting hitched hope to bag some much-needed cash for their wedding day. First, they must make their sweetheart’s favorite dish on a $10 budget. Next, the chefs get “cold feet” when preparing a cocktail hour appetizer from the frozen aisle. Finally, they must create a reception dinner using a grocery list featuring something old, something new, something blue, and something borrowed – from their fellow chef!

Premiering Sunday, February 14th at 8pm – “All-Star Academy Face-Off”
Four home cooks from All-Star Academy are ready for Grocery Games grad school, with Richard Blais and Curtis Stone serving as guest mentors! First, they must make a fine dining dinner including all of the wacky items on Guy’s list. Next, they bowl for strikes to assemble the ingredients for an American classic dish, and finally, Guy includes a surprise game for the mentors!

Premiering Sunday, February 21st at 8pm – “Guy’s Games of Chance”
Chefs try to beat the house, and the market, when they face three exciting games of chance. First, chefs roll dice to determine the details of a poker night plate. Next, they play a wild card game to determine the special ingredients in a wholesome weeknight dinner starring a red light special. Finally, the chefs play the slots see what jackpot trio of ingredients will go into their winner’s dinner.

Premiering Sunday, February 28th at 8pm – “Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Cook-Off”
Chefs are cooking every meal on the menu: breakfast, lunch and dinner! First, they must make a sweet and savory breakfast from items found in the store’s clearance carts. Then, a family lunch is complicated by a red light special. Finally, chefs spin the Budget Food Wheel to determine how much they can spend on their high stakes steakhouse dinner.

Kids Baking Championship
Premiering Monday, February 1st at 8pm – “Lunch Box Desserts'”
The six remaining kid bakers get creative as they invent lunch box desserts. The good news? Trading items is allowed. The bad news? Carrot sticks are tough to work into a dessert in this baking championship hosted by Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman.
Premiering Monday, February 8th at 8pm – “Candymonium”
To celebrate candy in all its glory, with the guidance of hosts Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman, the five remaining kid bakers must use three types of candy in a dessert but also keep it balanced, because it is a fine line between candymonium and candy overload!
Premiering Monday, February 15th at 8pm – “Dessert Imposters 2.0”

For the last skill drill, Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence challenge the final four to replicate a dish with no help from the chefs – they must rely on their own taste buds and newfound skills. The trials continue in the Main Dish Challenge, and the teams must cook a revamped version of their day one signature dishes and serve it to their loved ones; however, their friends and family don’t know who cooked what dish, so they could unwittingly send their loved one packing. Two recruits are sent home, and the final two remain.

Anne and Tyler each work with their remaining recruit to plan a refined three-course meal that will be served to a panel of culinary experts.
