Tonight is a special
Holiday: Impossible episode of
Restaurant Impossible, at the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne, New York. Double H Ranch is a 320-acre camp in the Adirondack mountains and is a non-profit organization that serves children dealing with life-threatening illnesses. In this episode, Robert will be making over the dining area of the camp in three days, and it is the largest space he has ever done.
As this is a special episode of
Restaurant Impossible, there will not be the normal type of update on this site. If you want to find more out about Double H Ranch, here is their
Facebook page, and here is their
website. Their website has more information about the programs they offer and also has a donation page if you are interested.
I'd be more inclined to watch R:I again if they would dump the marriage counseling, singing restaurateurs, incompetent owners and owners signing up just to raise the selling price of their restaurants and did renovations like this one for those who deserve it and will benefit the most.
ReplyDeleteBest episode ever!
ReplyDeleteAlso a big fan of Marc Summers, I am a Game Show Fan, and I know that Marc got into the "business" due to his love of game shows, came across this old pilot recently.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIdr3rv6ID0
ReplyDeleteStill watch the original Unwrapped on the Cooking Channel. Now, if we can get Marc to focus more on Roller Coasters and Amusement/Theme Parks ;)
As for "2.0", I will check it out, and see for myself, though it doesn't seem like I will be a big fan based on the other comments in this thread.
He was fron the fresh prince of belle aire from back in the 80's or 90's. Starred with actor/rapper will smith.
ReplyDeleteNow if only they would bring back The Secret Life Of... (or at least play the old episodes again!) My second-favorite FN show of all time, the original Iron Chef being first. I still kick myself for not having kept episodes I taped, or for not starting a collection in the first place. :(
ReplyDeleteWhy would the host of Unwrapped need ANY kitchen cred? It a show about how junk food is manufactured. There's not really any cooking knowledge needed. Alfonso will be just great in this role. Plus Marc is not a chef or food expert of any kind.
ReplyDeleteMarc did not create or produce Unwrapped.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to watch sitcoms to know who Carlton is. I've never watched Breaking Bad, but I know who Walter White is.
