Winner Of Food Network Star Season 10 Announced Tonight

Photo - Food Network
Tonight at 9pm on the Food Network is the season 10 finale of Food Network Star.  All of the contestants and judges are back together to reminisce about the season, and the winner of the season will be revealed.  The final three contestants who were up for America's vote were Luca Della Casa, Nicole Gaffney, and Lenny Mcnab.

The poll on this website to see who people were voting for was very close between Luca Della Casa and Lenny Mcnab.  Lenny led the poll with 42 percent of the people voting for him, while Luca was close behind with 38 percent.  Judging by this, Lenny is the favorite to win tonight, but with the vote being so close, and the way it seems like they edited the show in Luca's favor, maybe Luca will come out on top.

So, tune in to the Food Network tonight to see who wins Food Network Star, and look for an update on this site.

UPDATE - The winner of Food Network Star was Lenny Mcnab.

The poll on this website to predict the winner is now 3 for 3.  Whether Lenny gets a show or not remains to be seen, but there is a lot of controversy surrounding him.  More on that tomorrow...

  1. Since voting started after all the editing for the prioe show, and voting ended only last Wednesday I cannot see how they would know Luca won weeks ago when the editing for the prior shows was completed. I do think FN want Luca to win, aince he would be a comeback of then year story and validate the star salvation concept.

  2. According to my read of the pilots only Nicole proposed a traditional cooking show. Luca and Lenny were doing a travel show with a challenge. Too bad Nicole did not catch on in this poll. This is my take if Luca wins, he is not getting a show. His enunciation is so poor he cannot carry a 30 minute show. If Lenny wins he will be soon fired similar to Paula Deen.

  3. I don't care for Lenny because he's annoying and comes off as a phoney. . I can't imagine what he could have said about pioneer women, but the LGBT gets offended by everything..if you say you believe in traditional marriage they try to get you fired...

  4. Oh come on get over the damn video already! He said something that upset people.? Seriously Get. Over. It.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Oh...it's much more than the video. The video is the least of it. It's actually quite amazing that he was exhibiting his foul behavior after he already started filming. It's so offensive I won't even post the link, but it's in the comments if you wish to look for yourself.

  6. My god that Luca is porn star hot.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well that just made me vomit. No way would I ever watch that sexist pig.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lenny seems like a big fat phoney so he will fit in with all the other "chefs". Fire all of them and just bring back Sarah Moulton.

  9. I love the man and woman on America's Test Kitchen on PBS! They are down to earth, funny and experts and the food looks wonderful. Rachael Ray's is chopped slop!

  10. I cannot believe this. Come on folks who votes for that clown? I am so disappointed. I expected more from the from the food network.

  11. The Food Network has become the Game Show Network. Lenny is such an annoying nightmare. Only thing that I can hope is that they treat him like they screwed Justin. He actually had COOKING talent but still doesn't have a show

    ReplyDelete
  12. OMG Food Network should have done their homework before they made their poor decision.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I wish he won. He was the most genuine of all the contestants.

  14. Justin deserved much more. He's a great cook and a cool person. Lenny is a sexist @ss, a bigot, homophobic jerk. Lenny deserves a swift kick in the rear back out the street.

  15. This is probably the main reason why I stopped watch the Next Food Network Star.. They've been trying to find the next Guy Fieri even though some of these come across as forced or even phony... I'm glad I didn't watch this entire fiasco.... They've got the next Phil Robertson on their hands.... Have fun Food Network....

  16. LOL, Lenny is a pig! Eww!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I hated Justin -- found his personality incredibly annoying but I'm not saying anything against his skills. As FN proves with this show, usually they love annoying. Guy Ferry anyone? (I refuse to use that stupid stage name.) Of this season's pilots, Lenny's was the best but that doesn't mean I wanted him to win. I didn't really like any of the finalists this year, but I'd prefer Nicole out of the three. Nicole's show seemed plastic, like those friends. Luca needs to work on his enunciation before he should host a show. Lenny is tedious.

  18. Wow, that's horrible.

  19. Scandelous videos aside, I would be surprised if Food Network says or does nothing about Lenny's victory being announced before the episode aired.

  20. I am shocked an appalled that the Food Network didn't do something about preventing this outcome. Do they not monitor to find this stuff out?!? This goes against everything they have done in the past with regard to Paula Deen and Adam R, etc. They certainly have one big scandal on their hands now that from all appearances they could have quelled prior to filming and airing the finale.

  21. Wow, not a good week for restaurants featured on RI.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have a gut feeling that both Lenny and Luca will get their own shows. Wasn't there a season, I think it was four or five where two people got shows?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I hope that's the case. There was a lot of talent this season, overall.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I noticed Bob Tuchman didn't look too pleased with the outcome.

    ReplyDelete
  25. There was Cheri. It's been nice, actually, seeing that they found really talented people this time.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Who does that? I mean he knew he was trying out for this show. Most normal people would have purged social media and anything else out there so that only decent stuff was left. Of course, maybe to him this is decent.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I disliked Justin also. It was his personality and from the beginning it just grated on me. Yes, he can cook, but I couldn't handle him at all.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I love Sara Moulton. At her peak on Food Network, she was doing TWO hour long shows LIVE every night. Could any of their so-called stars pull that off today?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I saved the notorious brisket video before it was pulled...thinking about sending it to Tuschman.

    ReplyDelete
  30. You'd think, but we're talking about Lenny.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think you should. I tried to save the ones at the link above, but it wouldn't save. Also I think the network should have copies of that disgusting stuff he posted on that radio site. I think it was a thread on radio personalities or something.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I remember this episode, since it was a restaurant run by a black gay couple. I was so hoping they would succeed, since they seemed like nice guys who really wanted to make good food. At least they still have their catering business and each other.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It came out exactly as I thought it would - Lenny as the winner, Luca in 2nd, and Nicole in a distant 3rd.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Really? The comments that Lenny made in the fan interview almost sounded like he was making a thinly veiled attempt to come out of the closet. It would suck if Lenny was a homophobe.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I can't believe the public voted for Lenny but we will never know. There is no transparency into the process/results so the Network could just as easily have picked this idiot. The FN has really lost it's education focus in the past five years. I'm certainly not going the learn anything from "call me Chucky" McNab.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Couldn't watch more than a second or two.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Neither did Alton or Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Not surprised, but disappointed. For a show that preaches being genuine, it was clear from early on that Lenny was putting on an act. I grew up in the Southwest. You don't talk in a Texas twang (that varies every day) in Colorado or anywhere else in the Southwest. You don't dress up like a cowboy unless you work at a tourist attraction that caters to visitors from the East Coast. I guess we can credit Lenny with knowing how to play to the producers. But someone who knows Southwestern cooking and can authentically speak to it on TV won't confuse a Sope with a Sopapilla.

So congratulations, Lenny. Enjoy being buried on Sunday morning after an infomercial, if you make it to air at all. I do hope that some of the more believable characters from this year (Luca, Nicole, Emma) end up on Cooking Channel or something. But Lenny can take his "cookie" act back to the Rawhile Old West Town and put on a show for the tourists.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I used to criticize Sarah because she messed up nearly everything she made. I have now done a 180 and miss her and find her real and refreshing. Wish they'd bring her back.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Agree. Just unbelievable. They should have overridden the public's vote. They have another Paula Deen situation on their hands now. Thought Luca was outstanding last night.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Shannon, please send it. Please send the bathroom video, too. He's so vulgar, crude, and nasty. A total pig.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Exactly. And an "act" is all it is. He had horrid teeth and no twang in his repulsive videos.

    ReplyDelete
  43. In the message board thread that appears to be him posting he is awfully derogatory to the LGBT community. And what allegedly was said about Pioneer Woman...I hope she goes directly to the network. If I were her I would not want to work with this guy. I read the posts...if you thought the video was bad, the posts were much worse.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Surprising, since I thought Alton was totlly in Camp Lenny.

    ReplyDelete
  45. You don't dress up like a cowboy unless you work at a tourist attraction that caters to visitors from the East Coast.
But isn't that precisely what he does? He cooks at a dude ranch, which isn't a real cowboy venue.

  46. Seasons 4, 5, and 6 produced shows for contestants other than the winners. And ironically, these were seasons in which the choice of the winner wasn't up for viewer voting.

    ReplyDelete
  47. You hit upon the key word: "Real." Yeah, she'd mess up some things, but her show was live. Could anyone currently on Food Network pull that off? We've seen what a disaster their live Thanksgiving shows are. I had the privilege of meeting her a few years ago on one of her book tours. There weren't a lot of people swarming around her, so I go to talk to her for quite awhile one-on-one. She is indeed as nice as she comes across on TV.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I don't know what bigoted comments he made about the LGTB community, but Matt posted today about the comments he made about Ree.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I don't think Alton was Camp anybody this season. He seemed way off this season, like he didn't even want to be there and didn't like anyone, lest of all Giada and Bobby.
Giada was definitely Camp Luca and Bobby was Camp Blond.

Both Alton and Bobby looked shocked, disappointed, and pretty disgusted (Alton couldn't even hide it). Giada put on a pretty good act, but I am betting she didn't like the results either.

  50. People on this site voted for him and the video had made the rounds around here way before voting even started. I can't figure that one out.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Would you be kind enough to put up a link to those posts, please?

    ReplyDelete
  52. This website already did. It's in their blog from today.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah, I just noticed like 2 seconds after I posted the link request. Sorry about that.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh, one more thing. Can we talk about Loreal's transition from Luzianne coffee log to Shirley Temple?

    ReplyDelete
  55. When the show first started, it felt like an honest talent search where they cast people who could cook to see if they could do TV. The past few years it has turned into scripted "reality" drama where they cast TV characters and see if they can cook. It's a farce. But as long as Buick pays for x number of seconds of contestants riding in a Buick and Hershey pays to have PayDay in an episode, this is what we're going to get every year.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Alton tweeted that his biggest disappointment this season was getting rid of Loreal. Someone asked him on Twitter what the biggest disappointment was for him and he replied via Post-it note as he does, Losing Loreal #ButcherBabe

    ReplyDelete
  57. I know someone from a major media outlet that would like to see it and any others that anyone may have saved.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Anon-- could you provide a link to the sites where the "Gourmet Cowboy" has made improper comments? I could not find them using a Google search.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Chucky is more appropriate, although he said"Cooky." LOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  60. Just as I can't figure out how people like some of the other reality t.v...I guess the grosser, the more ratings.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I thought Alton was, at first, until he saw the belly flop.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Susie seemed to go off camera for the remainder of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Send it to Perez Hilton, to US magazine, and to the other guest, Ross.

    ReplyDelete
  64. http://www.petersenshunting.com/big-game/chef-lenny-mcnab-best-cook-west/
Here's Lenny is bragging about his other persona, Black Mamba.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I said before I didn't have a horse in the race. Moaning about it does nothing. If FN yet again picked the wrong person, we will see. Time for an all star FNS?
I wont be watching ppl with golden belt buckles and jeans acting like a cowboy on a Sunday morning or ever. But I wish him luck.
And I do think, especially with Luca's work with allergies and his background, it would be in an interest of ANY food show to get in.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I remember this episode, since it was a restaurant run by a black gay couple.

well to be honest they did stand out, you can show me updates of restaurants from three weeks ago and I'd probably not remember them.

At least they still have their catering business and each other.

I didn't need that image in my head.

  67. what a weirdo!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Biff, you're a clown... sexual preference is a personal issue too much hatred, you don't want to dine there ... fine with that, but keep your morality to yourself

    ReplyDelete
  69. Not surprised. Owners with dirty kitchens and dining rooms seem the least likely to succeed. I'm am surprised RI even accepts applications from filthy locations that put the public at risk with health code violations.

  71. Oh whew! I just watched this epi (in Canada) & was afraid when I saw the headline it was closed it meant Chuck & Montez called it quits on their relationship! I liked them together...they were both just ground down from the stress of the restaurant.
I'm happy to see they have survived & only the restaurant in its current incarnation has ended...
