Ted Allen Announces He Is Engaged

News came out today that the Supreme Court was overturning the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), meaning same-sex couples who marry in states where it's legal will have the same federal benefits as married heterosexual couples.  This was a big win for same-sex marriage, and shortly after the announcement, Ted Allen from Chopped revealed that he was now engaged to his partner of 20 years, Barry Rice (pictured to the right).

Congrats to Ted!  He joins Anne Burrell and Bobby Deen as Food Network personalities that are currently engaged.

    I agree. DISGUSTING!!!!!!! Completely against nature. Even animals mate with the opposite sex. So what does that make us? Oh yeah, I think the word is unregenerate reprobates.
