Chopped All Stars Preview - Starts Tonight

Tonight is the start of Chopped: All-Stars, which will have five episodes Sundays at 9pm for five consecutive weeks.  The episodes will be Food Network vs. Cooking Channel, Mega Chefs, Chopped Judges, and Celebrities, and then the final with the winners of the first four episodes facing each other.  The contestants are playing for $50,000 for a charity of their choice.  The Food Network blog asked all of the contestants the same questions called '11 Things You Didn't Know About (Chefs Name)' which I have linked to below if you are interested:


Episode 1 - Gabriele Corcos, Nadia G, Jeff Mauro, and Sunny Anderson,
Judges: Chris Santos, Geoffrey Zakarian, Maneet Chauhan

Episode 2 -  Chuck Hughes,  Richard Blais, Gavin Kaysen, and Elizabeth Falkner 
Judges: Chris Santos, Marcus Samuelsson, Maneet Chauhan

Episode 3 - Marc Murphy, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, and Scott Conant
Judges: Aarón Sánchez, Geoffrey Zakarian, Marcus Samuelsson

Episode 4 - Joey Fatone, Judy Gold, Laila Ali, Johnny Weir (they stopped '11 things' after Joey Fatone - maybe he wins?)
Judges: Maneet Chauhan, Geoffrey Zakarian, Marcus Samuelsson

Final - The 4 winners advance.  Judges: Aáron Sanchez, Geoffrey Zakarian, Marcus Samuelsson


Also, we do know two of the winners of the episodes due to the Food Network's commercial for the show.  We know the winner of the 'Chopped Judges' episode and the winner of the 'Mega Chefs' episode.  Click here if you would like to know who those winners are.

    I didn't know much about Sunny Anderson before this episode but after watching and finding her website, I really like her and wish they'd use her more in demonstration-cooking programs. She's very likable and engaging.


    And I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo glad she beat "The Sandwich King" - who claimed he could do more than make sandwiches and then what is his entree? A bloody sandwich. Lame.

    I thought Nadia had a great chance but sadly she missed one plate (or her food bounced off the plate with a hectic finish) but ithought her reaction to getting eliminated was perhaps the most hilarious reactions but also a bit scary when she gave Jeff a kiss of death stare! But glad she did because i didnt care for Jeff to win either! . I thought Gabrielle should have been eliminated first since he didnt do anything with that mango juice but whatev cant change what happened... Sunny surprised me I wasnt sure how shed do but glad she had a level head and passion to beat the others!
