All Restaurant Impossible Updates - How Many are Open Vs Closed?

As I have promised after the Restaurant Impossible season five finale, I have compiled a list of ALL restaurants that have been on Restaurant Impossible and the status of these restaurants.  In an interview earlier this month with the Atlantic City Blog, Robert Irvine was quoted as saying, (regarding Restaurant Impossible) "We’ve done 69 and I’ve lost seven. The success rate is awesome."

Well, my math is a little different regarding how many have closed, and how many remain open.


I have created a detailed list of which restaurants are open, have closed, or have been sold since they appeared on Restaurant Impossible.  This list will be kept up-to-date and will be updated as more shows air, and as more restaurants close or get sold.

As of today's date, 14 of 61 Restaurants Have Closed, 2 Restaurants Have Sold, and 45 of 61 Restaurants Are Still Open.

Still off from mine.  If you include the people selling, mine are at 16 of 61.  He is probably including recently filmed episodes that have not aired as successes.
