Giada De Laurentiis and her show 'Everyday Italian' was nominated for 5 Daytime Emmy nominations today. The categories she was nominated in were Outstanding Culinary Program, Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Host, Outstanding Directing In A Lifestyle/Culinary Program, Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing, and Outstanding Achievement in Single Camera Photography.Giada is a very busy person these days, appearing on this months Health Magazine, where she reveals health tips and beauty tips, such as using olive oil on her face (Full Article). She will also be appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight (Source), along with Howard Stern and Brooklyn Decker.
Three other Food Network shows will be going up against Giada for Outstanding Culinary Program, which are: Bobby Flay's Barbeque Addiction, Guy Fieri's Guy's Big Bite and Jeff Mauro's Sandwich King. Two Food Network shows will be going against Giada for Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Host - Paula Deen's Paula's Best Dishes and Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade Cooking. The final 2 Food Network Nominations are Sandra Lee's Makeup Artist's for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup and Thanksgiving Live! for Outstanding Special Class Special.
